After watching, all the masters who ever lived in the coffin turned over, and the respected author, do not confuse the concept of "Restoration", you actually just brought it into a workable appearance, and not somehow did not restore it. I doubt that at the time this machine was made, there was nothing that could make finely ground coffee. It looks more like a machine for grinding malt. To then brew beer. At least that's what they sold me one for.

Hot bluing is done on the inside of the coffee machine and not on the outside.

I don't think it was for coffee grinding but probably for something like a grain or corn where you want more of a 'grit' or 'meal'.

why don't you sandblast it right away and I would strongly advise against using gloves with a rotary wire brush
