You should make a detailed course on how to use DAP 7 because not everyone knows about DAP previous versions and would like to buy DAP 7 and learn in details how to use it , so think about it , if you want to sell your product , you should teach people how to use .

Right now it's kind of a trade secret for those of us who figure it out ourselves. It's making life as an 'artist' much easier. But if everyone and their dog had it, the value of that skill goes away.

@@HalkerVeil I have a suggestion for you since you know clearly how to use it , why don’t you make an online course and sell it ?
@HalkerVeil2 жыл бұрын
@@abdallaalmidfa7345 You mean sell courses? There isn't enough people who use this software to justify that market. When that happens the market will get flooded with art that looks hand painted and it won't sell like it does now. And I'll probably move on to other options. Also, with laws changing around AI not being allowed to copyright, I'm debating if it's worth even getting into at this point.

@@HalkerVeil I got your point ,smart, but can you please recommend something on how to learn to use all the tools of this software?

@@abdallaalmidfa7345 The only info I got was from their channel to get the basics. And the PDF that comes with the software in the Help section. But mostly I just experimented with new templates. (Right click a style you like to start with, and click "Edit in Template Editor") Then I experimented as you would in a lab. First make a "control" sample and save it. It's just a painting to compare to later. Then I make a single change in the settings, save it as a new template and name it something related to the change I made. And I let it paint the exact same image. Now I can compare that result to the control painting from before and see the differences. And that gives me an idea of what it does. Repeat for every setting. And take notes. By time you do 3 or 4 settings, you already have enough understanding to start generating your own style and look. Some settings are obvious in what they do, other settings are just... weird. And I had to experiment a lot with them to figure out what they changed. Like the Dry Reveal Adjustment to almost nothing. (Eventually i figured out that clicking the Visual Adjust allowed me to see in real time what it did.) Over time I figured out how to create my own brushes, I used other software to make them in small 300 x 300 pixel squares across 10x10 grid. A total of 100 brushes. Top half was underpainting brushes, bottom half was detail brushes. Import them into the software, and make my own colors. I did that before the version 7. Now it's much easier since they give you the grid and you don't have to make it yourself. There are so many settings I can't even begin to explain what they do. And how they all work with each other. Using the software is almost like an art itself. Which is a bit ironic.

Hello. Is it possible to add the color we want to the landscape rough color scale in the palette section?
@Mediachance Жыл бұрын
That color scale is more for the general palette that will be used - it color match the image to a previous or sample images first.

Hello. Does this program have the ability to paint only a certain area?
@HalkerVeil2 жыл бұрын
Wait... we FINALLY have alpha backgrounds for painting exports? As in painting logos or other product images and not have to sit there for 6 hours masking out a background?
@Mediachance2 жыл бұрын
Any alpha channel can be transferred to the output image
