I've been waiting for you to remember Matsukawa! Mattsun is one of my favorites from Seijoh, so it's nice to find a reactor who actually remembers his and Hanamaki's name. They're usually overlooked, which is totally understandable - there are just so many characters in this show. Thank you so much for taking time in knowing and remembering the characters. I honestly don't mind watching reactors forgetting names, but what I really like about this scene is that it's unexpected of Hinata, who has come across so many great middle blockers out there that are more flashy and well-known, but he still sees Mattsun's block as his "most hated" one.

love that dapper is more mature mature than most haikyu fans and actually tries to understand why some parts in this season have lower quality animation instead of just shitting on the studio that worked hard to give us a season(especially after delaying this season twice)

Haikyuu doesn't run on its animation because it's story is great enough that passable animation is acceptable. But I still prefer the anime over manga because of the music, sound effects and voice acting

It's only really this episode that has some janky moments..maybe the odd bit here and there later but not the whole half of the season for sure. Though we do get a fair bit more of that sort of wacky animation we've seen a bit of already but that's more a style thing whereas this episode was outsourced i believe so just has some...visual issues at times 😂

Yea I much preferred in the manga when Shimada realizes what's happening and tears off through the stands to get to where Yamaguchi can see him in time, whereas in the anime he just kind of... shows up

The best team of second year for what anime only know should be inarizaki. Besides aran and One middle blocker all the regulars are second years.karasuno Is still pretty good in my opinion, but because has the best First years among all the teams.

i think the animation itself is fine. But what makes it bad is how inconsistent the character models are. Sometimes they look amazing and other times they look fresh out of microsoft paint
