Poveglia Island is considered the most haunted island in the world. It's located in Venice, Italy, and it has an incredibly dark past...
The island was first created as a black plague isolation zone where over 160,000 people were sent to die, the ground you walk on is said to be the remains from this period. It later became a notorious insane asylum where the doctors conducted terrible experiments on their patients away from the eyes of the public.
The last people to own the island fled during their first night staying on it when their daughter was mysteriously attacked by something... That was 70 years ago... And no one has attempted to stay on it since... Until now.

What turns me off of most ghost investigation type videos is that they're always done by paranormal investigators and perceive everything as paranormal activity. I also don't believe in ghosts so it was nice to see one made by a skeptic. Great video!

The whole ¨finding the bell tower¨ thing was definitely sensationalized for the audience. This is an extremely small set of islands. I toured the island with one friend in 2016. The bell tower is directly across from the octagon, and in plain view. All this is true, but I will admit that the woody parts are extremely confusing. That being said, it is way too easy to just fuggin look up at the tower and re-orient yourself.
