I spent 10 hours in the catacombs walking. Came in at port d italie and came out at montparnasse. Imma say something cause a lot of people panic and stuff but if you know guides, you can definitely go in and out, spend a night of partying and only meet other people doing the same. No dangerous situations. If you go deeper than the known areas then that is another story. I would say that no one who goes there constantly is normal, so meeting a regular of the catacombs is always kinda weird. This guy had a dog unleashed with a light on it and would not like anybody petting it even though the dog would come to you. Kinda just looking to start some shit. We crossed a guy with a gigantic boombox and lights a couple times. Also know there are no skulls in the catacombs cause people take them, if you see one i recommend leaving it there, means someone put it back lol. Creepy. Also lots of little messages are hidden everywhere and you are supposed to do the same, take a paper with a random quote from a random person and just leave yours for someone else to find. La plage is called like that cause it has a huge Graffiti of the wave by Hokusai. I didn't leave a message but there is a room with mud and a lot of handprints everywhere and I did do that. The best one though is hard to miss because of the lights but there is a room with a lot of drawings done with shine in the dark paint so after putting light in it if you switch them all off the whole room lits up. All in all cool night even though we almost got lost and had to improvise an exit.

This was heavily embellished, they went to the usual youtuber spots (2-3 hours maximum in the tunnels) claimed it's dangerous to be a foreigner down there (it's not unless you speak zero french and ask for directions) claimed cataphiles will rob you (they wont, they just don't like being filmed by youtubers all the time) claimed people were living on the beach (it's the first major room from the entrance they took, and regular party spot) the white figures were painted over the graffiti so are more recent that the 90s footage. Every location they went to has been mapped so far.

I explore a lot of underground spaces including labyrinth stone mines near where I live, said to be 200 miles long, and the paris catacombs place as always been on my hit list, but I can't say I have ever been to anywhere, where the main danger is being attacked, and if that's true this place is not for me. I can and do literally deal with anything else associated with being underground, loose rock, tight spaces and squeezes long crawls, mazes, deep water, vertical drops, but not people, people are the worse, as everything else even the looseness I can predict. If that's all true that is, if it's 16 hours in and people live in there, what the heck do they eat, unless there's a much quicker way to that section.

11yrs ago I explored the inner location of where they got spooked, I saw there just endlessly more tunnels, I saw a sword down there which I brought to my house, the stones had no signs of graffiti, and supports were cracking, and some perfect bones could be seen, what the scariest was I found a group of peoples making a ritual, they ran on me but thankfully I have a gun which they run quickly. but there is a location I haven't explored, a tunnel under the water, I think there are valuable things can be found.

The further you go the less graffiti appears. And that is really the only clue you could get to escape because the plage looks indentical without paintings. But they said they were low on battery. So i don’t think they had the time to check the camera footage. And there’s stories of the people down in the third level they went to last is a place with big risks of people going to rob you for lights, camera equipment, batteri, food and water etc. And they litteraly leave you to ☠️ !!

Could you get a really long string or rope, that’s pretty tough. Keep to one wall where possible and stick it to the wall with a lil bit of tape that you can take back off when you return back so not to bother others down there.
