Kaivalya Kumar Gurav is a leading Kirana gharana vocalist. His family have long been immersed in the tradition - Ganapatrao Gurav, his grandfather, was a disciple of the gharana’s founder Abdul Karim Khan. Kaivalya’s extensive training led to him becoming one of the youngest singers to receive a top grading from All India Radio and Doordarshan (the national TV channel). He also sings bhajans and Marathi music.
