He’s genuinely my favorite wrestler in AEW ahead of Sammy Guevara. Future World Champion is Allin, he’s just incredible

It's weird. It's the same questions, with him telling the same stories, and he's painfully shy/awkward. I don't mean that as a hater, because I really like Darby, but he's gotta open up a bit. With how he rehabs after, prepares before and only needing to do 1-2 matches a week, a very long time. Big difference between normally 1 match per week and 5, the wear/tear of being on the road 5 days a week is also killer where Darby pre-covid could be home 5 days a week and during Covid can sleep in his own bed 6 days a week given how close he lives to Jacksonville

I heard him talk about what he does to help maintain his body, but just because you want your body to keep going, doesn't mean it will. His and AEW's schedule may potentially change in the future. He may go to another promotion. A freak accident could mean he breaks his neck. He's like Jeff Hardy when he started. I'm sure Jeff felt no pain back then too. Not exactly the same these days and Darby potentially may push his body further.

How much of Jeff's H issue's(pain) are because of working a heavy schedule for years and starting when he was what 16 in the WWF(first match was May '94). working back to back nights weekly + travel wears the body down fast.

Darby is one of those guys which became an instant fave of mine. This is what makes AEW special. It really is like Street Fighter come to life. It's got all body types and all sizes and all types of personalities and weird people... it's great. I also like that everyone has their look and continue to develop that. Because so many other companies, it's just a guy with black trunks and boots. Like the most generic look in existence. Half of what makes the image of a wrestler is his appearance. You really have to have the iconic appearance like a Marvel superhero. So far, Darby has that look. I'm sure it's far from the finished product and you will come up with an even more memorable look, but it's a great start. Orange Cassidy has the perfect iconic look. That light blue really stands out. Perfect 10. Him, the Young Bucks with their trademark tassle boots and jackets... Cody with the white hair and the supehero pants... all the costumes of Cody are HIM. Private party with the long jacket coattails. Love that stuff. Of course, Hangman with the cowboy gimmick. That's gold especially with that horse. Shida with the new red uniform --now she looks like straight out of a comic book. Speaking of comic books, Swole with the Storm outfit! very smart! Yuka Sakazaki with the fairy anime clothes. Nyla Rose looks straight out of Mortal Kombat. TH2 with the green and black. Jack Hager with the 80's polo shirt, dated slacks and the 80's TV hairdo is hilarious but effective especially as a heel. Reminds me of Jaws from James Bond. Your company has so many unique characters!
