*Do NOT try to use the same shoes as me or your favorite running influencer. Please go get properly fitted!

Thank you for putting your garbage in a trash can. During races many people don't care and just toss it on the ground. I like the pink Party Pace shirt 🙂

Thanks! I carried a banana peel for over a mile during the DL half in January because I couldn’t find a trash can. 🤣

I need to get me some nerd clusters love that idea… I had to call my long run at 4 miles my body just wasn’t having it this week…

You are a rock star!! How did the nerd do as fuel?? I can't do gels either but for the last few halfs I ran I used Skout Orangic bars and Wise bars and loved them!

Do you still use the run/walk method for the long runs? What interval timing are you using? I think my training pace is similar to yours and just curious what you’ve found is best for you?

I do! I’m a firm believer in run/walk/run. I use a 1:1 interval (I know now Galloway doesn’t advise a walk more than 30 seconds long…but I know what works for me and what I can maintain). I can maintain that for a good long while.

I still love it! I used it for my shorter runs and then input the stats into my Strava so I can have all of my dopey training live there too.

Do you (or anyone in the comments) wear insoles in their running shoes? Any recommendations?

I wear Birkenstock insoles. Any running store can fit you for them too depending on your needs!
