A run/walk before a race, well that's a gutsy move worthy of two, count 'em, TWO Dr. Peppers! Bravo. Tomorrow is maybe 15 for me. My daily mantra is "No Expectations, No disappointments" Hug Gus!

It was risky but it had to be done! We knew we would be *done* after crossing the finish line so an early wake up it was!

So proud of you! Killing Dopey training girl! This 15 miles has the most I have ever done and I was doing great until mile 10, my hip flexors just seized up and the heat sky rocketed. I did the same thing you did which was walk more to keep myself safe in the heat. But we DID IT!

Congrats on a distance PR!!!!! We did it!!!

This video was straight up running wisdom. Thank you for sharing. I really needed to hear it. I downloaded that Jeff Galloway immediately after finishing the video. You are amazing!

Hiiiii from Houston and a NASA employee! I love your channel and Run Disney and have done every race weekend. But girl I lol'd when you talked about the launch pad. We don't launch from Texas!! Launches take place from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Love you!!

I had 5 and 12 miles this past weekend in preparation for wine and dine challenge. In addition to running Army 10mile here DC/VA. I'm planning to do 4 mile the weekend after wine and dine

Haven’t trained in over a year but I AM in Houston and would’ve loved to have cheered ya through this heat. My son and I have been here in Houston since August while he’s fought cancer and MD Anderson has saved his life! New aorta, new esophagus, radiation next. This is our current Dopey. Just a different type of training I guess! But I still love watching all y’all’s videos!

Oh my gosh!!! MD Anderson is a wonderful place. I’ve done several continuing education courses there- it’s just wonderful. Praying for yall and your current Dopey. 💙

One of the many examples of why RunDisney runners need to run local races. Support your community, and makes you appreciate running through parks. Highway miles aren’t as bad when you’ve run races that are 100% highway miles!

Amen to that! Makes me thankful we aren’t running along side cars at Disney! That was nerve wracking!

Wine and dine i am using it as my long run. Switching things around a bit.

I’m thinking of doing that too- just pushing everything off by a week.
