Just finished season not long ago ago. Gotta say Marvel and Netflix hit the jackpot when they hired this amazingly versatile and hardworking actor to play Murdock/Daredevil. It's one of the best Crime Drama/Super Hero shows I've ever seen. Great interview, thanks for sharing.

I've gotten so used to network tv, with its commercial breaks, that I didn't fully realize what a hindrance they can be to a show. Daredevil, because Netflix doesn't have to worry about commercial breaks, really gives the writers room to do scenes the way *they* want to do them, both in terms of pacing & length.

We've only 10% of Charlie's acting ability in Daredevil season 1. I became a fan of his when he played Owen Sleater in Boardwalk Empire. He was exceptional in that. Can't wait to see me from him and Vincent D'onofrio in the next season.

Matty Whawell I like the way the interviewer faltered when Charlie said he had only a month to prep and seemed apologetic that it was a lot of time. In 1 month , Charlie had to: 1)Bulk up and hit the gym for the first time in his life. 2)Learn complex martial arts moves with his stunt double 3)Learn how to appear blind with a consultant 4)Read and reseach his character. Well done Sir!

Considering its part of MCU i think they should shoehorn in the references a LITTLE bit more. I mean the new york invasion was a BIG thing in MCU and the series only showed a glipse throwback to it. I know its not really relevant to progressing Daredevils story (yet), but it would just help connect this darker world to the bigger MCU picture....even if they reference just the New York Hereos (Iron Man and newly added SpiderMan)
