+Ron Simkins What is wrong with having love triangles? It is quite possible for a love story to be written well. Its happened in the comics plenty of times. A lot of DD story lines deal with his relationships and the conflicts that hinder it. Plus, I'm sure the Netflix writers are far more quality than what's on the CW.

I worry and feel it's unfortunate that folks might miss out on this because of the darker tone and violence. This show really is one the finest contributions to the MCU to date, rivalling if not exceeding CA: Winter Soldier with it's exceptional storytelling and outstanding performances. It's also sad that folks might miss out on seeing people of color portrayed by such amazingly talented actors of color given that Marvel movies are so lacking in diversity. Given the nature of film narrative the mostly black actors never get to shine in their secondary roles, except ever so briefly maybe Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, but even with so little time you believe that Sam would follow Cap. However, even though Dawson's character, Claire, is also a secondary character to Cox's Matt Murdock, because of television's long form we get to see Rosario bring Claire alive and play off Charlie Cox so very well. What's more she is his love interest, over what could have easily been Karen Page, the blonde white woman. This show chose an Afro Latina actress to fill the love interest role and allowed her to shine unlike fellow Afro-Latina, Zoe Saldana playing Gamora. Can't wait for Misty Knight over on Iron Fist and who knows maybe they'll add an actress of color in the movies, not covered in make-up. Other actors of color shine here too. Vondie Curtis-Hall as Ben Urich and Wai Ching Ho as Madame Gao, they weren't given much time but they owned their characters.

***** I don't want him with karen. Claire knows him completely and doesn't have an issue standing by him which you don't see all the time. She understands his mission but doesn't want him to lose himself because of that and I find that very important to their chemistry because he needs someone like that. Karen has showed signs of being confused between Matt and foggy and I would much rather see her with foggy they had great chemistry as well.

almighty Don If you don't like Karen don't worry, at some point Karen ends up as a junkie pornstar and sells out Matt's secret identity...... I wonder if they'll ever adapt that part.

Arturo Casab​ No I love the actress playing her, she played Jessica on True blood and I think she's doing great playing karen. I just like the connection between Matt and claire more. I don't mind it when certain changes are made to a book based show or movie. I just hate when all the important things are changed or the whole story is changed.

I am in episode seven and I know already that Claire only has one more episode in the season but I love her. She is so mature. That is just refreshing because I am sick of women in hero shows being girls. I love their insane chemistry though I am not pairing them because I am sure that with Elektra coming next season and then Karen who will probably be the long term love interest they don't stand a chance but I love their dynamic in every way. I think that as friends, these two can be just as great. I just want me some more Claire. Hopefully next season her role will be stepped up.

So true about the writing being brilliant and it's like a crime drama peppered with superhero stuff....the team has achieved it Mr. Daredevil. I definitely qualify as someone who has never read a marvel comic or been into superhero stuff. But I can re-watch Daredevil. It's a great quality production!
