Daredevil Fafnir With NEW Chione Weapons vs Hazard in War Robots

Hopefully this helps those who are thinking about going Chione on either their Typhon or Fafnir builds - from what it seems the Hazard would be the better choice. One thing I also forgot to mention… at close range I think the Chiones would do slightly better simply because of that splash damage (especially if you are running the Explosives Expert skill) but at that mid-range the Hazards are the better choice.

I was going to say the new freeze rockets are better since they have the effect of slowing down enemy players and also increase 20% of incoming damage. However I will finish watching the upload to see why you said Hazard Adrian🫡 Okay after watching, yes hazard by far but if Pixi adjust the accuracy freeze rockets then perhaps the results may vary. Hazard can be devastating depending on what robots and the pilot skills you have with them

I think even if you didn't have the pilot skills they're deadly when compared to others in the same mid-range category. The thing with these weapons too is that they don't lose damage with distance and with a 3 second reload time you can just about brawl with them too.

The lobbing or arcing of these that lets them shoot over obstacles, plus their range, damage, and short reload are all OP. I'd love to have some.

That’s the only thing that can kill a UE fenrir. I’m not joking. It needs at least 3x titans to finish it. All at same time.

Same with claw /talon type weapons, I used them with raven , when you jump you do miss, not miss more, you miss the shots when jumping , or moving fasttt, not your imagination

That's good to know. That makes me favour the Hazard even more because at least with Hazard you don't miss unless you have bad aim.

I'm F2p and I've got an mk2 Erebus/Decay that I worked really hard for and it's a beast! It would be a sad day when they nerf the radiation weapons into oblivion. They were very under rated but now everyone is wise to their free availability and potential. I'll have to bury my Erebus/Decay right next to my Behemoth/Avalanche 😭.

I think the hazard weapons has the most damage output (in my opinion). I am slowly trying to run my Typhon with Hazard, however, I am not sure if I would run it on the traditionalist Fafnir or just a traditionalist Typhon

I would rather run Daredevil Fafnir with Hazard. I don't think you have Traditionalist Typhon you only have Daredevil and Ghost.

Great weapon comparison. It's the firing mechanics that make this weapon deadly being able to shoot over ridges and slight inclines. That's what made the rust rockets crazy back in the day (useless now since the nerf). I really don't care to much for these weapons. I'm just glad that Pixonic didn't Overpower these new weapons like they usually do.

Without watching the video I would say Cryptic Hazards by far. I run 4 of them at mk3 on my Warrior Typhon and the kills I get with that thing is off the charts. As expected.

I think I would do maybe Fafnir Hazard with Typhon Mace. Maybe Daredevil Fafnir Hazard and Typhon with the Louis Duncan, 2x Repair Amp, Nuclear Amplifier, Daredevil and Mace. I know I'm getting very specific here but that's pretty much what I would run.

yep...tried them on Siren, while on air you can hit anyone. the old 350 meters rockets had the same problem. game mechanics are broke when it comes to these kind of rockets

hey adrian, what do u think is the better build typhon with hazard or fafnir with hazard?

If both are running Daredevil then the Fafnir is tankier. Fafnir has resistance when on the ground whereas Typhon just has the Aegis Shield. If I was to use a similar build for Typhon I would need Louis Duncan, 2x Repair Amps and Pascal. With the Fafnir I'd need 2x Repair Amps and maybe Pascal although even something like Armadillo could work. Hope this helps!

Which is why I compared both weapons at max level. Players often keep mentioning max equipment but it's all relative. This is why my Baby Account using lower level equipment gets so much hate - players have convinced themselves so much about max level equipment it pains them to see a lower level account sometimes outperform or come close to someone who is MK2 or MK3 (and yes it has happened on more than one occasion with that account).

I actually haven't run both in quite a while so I'd have to test things. I believe Bane was buffed recently? Before testing things I'd probably lean more towards Talon than the Bane simply because of how Talon works.

I wouldn't actually use Otto with Blight, Hazard or Decay as it doesn't really make too much of a difference. These weapons already fire so fast (which is why you would run Otto). If you're running Magnums, Spear, maybe Tarans and Redeemer then yes the Otto is good.

I would rather get hit by those than to get hit by Hazard. Hazard will wipe you out faster. Think about it. How long does it take for Hazard to unload the entire clip and remember it has a 3 second reload. Now compare that with the new weapons. They take longer to unload and after that unload you have to reload and wait for 7 seconds - in that time you would have fired twice with Hazard.

Nope I'm not crazy when I say I preferred Dagon Blight over the Dagon Tamer when Tamer was in it's prime. I go with what I see not by what others tell me. What I saw was that Blights were wiping out everything. Tamers were too (don't get me wrong) but Blights were in a league of their own.

I actually don't understand why they buffed these weapons to begin with. They were already so strong and then I think they buffed them twice. When players were all flocking to Tamers (because of the Rust effect) I remember testing Blight on Dagon and couldn't believe how crazy the damage was. When Tamers were meta I actually preferred Blight. That means these old weapons have outlasted the rust and soon the ice rockets - I'm pointing this out because players always say I'm defending Pixonic. This isn't about defending but simply showing you what's in front of you the way it is. If we're talking about "balance" though then these weapons are far from balanced but players will say it's balanced because 1) it's an old weapon and 2) they can get it or have it already.
