for those asking what happened to Karen, well it happened during the Kevin Smith run (Yes, the director Kevin Smith), in the storyline called "Guardian Devil", Bullseye grabbed one of DD Billy clubs and tried to used against daredevil, he tossed it towards DD, but Karen got in the way, but the billy club stabbed her right in her heart and died
