Thank you for visiting the village where I grew up. My parents are still there on the corner, opposite the church. The Lewis Carroll centre is inside the church in the new part and the old part of the church has “Alice” themed stained glass windows. The school has a weathervane, which looks like it may have been taken down for repair. Just to the left of where you zoomed in, you’ll see the Cheshire Cat on the wall. Residents of the village pronounce it Dahs-bury but there’s dispute throughout the rest of Warrington 😅 The scarecrows are back - this time commemorating the 80th anniversary of D-Day and raising money for the hospice once again.

Please get your facts right. Fiddlers Ferry was never a nuclear power station but a coal-powered station.
