I have nerve damage in both ankles.. always relied on cardio, running and dancing especially. I’m not kidding when I say I’ve probably watched 20 videos to find any type of exercise where i don’t need to rely on my ankle and this is the first channel that actually shows decent core workouts that can actually help when you’re injured. YAAAAAY!!! I smashed your workout just 2 min ago with my healing big toe from an ingrown toenail removal from my podiatrist 2 days ago!! Ouch! Omg i feel you. I started on January 2021. And on January 31 I twisted my ankle I went half February without exercising. Towards end of February I started again. I still can’t do much but I’m glad I can get something done 😃

Thanks for this! I’m 3 weeks post-op with 2 plates and 9 screws. The smaller plate will come out after 6 months because it’s close to a nerve in the back of my ankle. I start PT tomorrow!

Thanks, this is brilliant! I had a left hip replacement in March and an opposite side ankle replacement in July (4 more weeks to go of non-weight-bearing.) I will be happy to use all of this! My butt will surely hurt less from lounging on the sofa, and I'll be in great shape once my boot comes off.

Broke my right ankle-Fibula on Feb 14, 2021 quad rollerskating. This is Day 9 post-op plate and screws and now in a rocker boot with some weight bearing on crutches allowed. Started your vid on day 5 after doing my own simple mat Pilates on my bed. Your program is great! Would like to see more vids until my next post-op follow up in 5 weeks. I can’t believe my calf atrophy in just 19 days😕.

Recently sustained a minor ankle injury that has prevented me from doing to the intense HIIT and strength training I'm used to. I'd been struggling with how to still get an effective workout while not hindering my recovery or making the injury worse. So glad this popped up during my search for ankle injury safe workouts! It was short and sweet and I even worked up a bit of a sweat and got my heart rate up. It felt great. Thanks!

@@aleats3866 I made the fatal error of playing basketball wearing running shoes (which I knew was a recipe for disaster). My foot rolled order my leg and hyperextended. Coincidentally this happened on the same day the Joe Biden fractured his foot with a similar injury except my brake is a little more severe. They put me in a walking boot as well.

Comment #2: I'm using a walker and crutches, which are great for my upper body! I pad the grips with foam to spare my hands form a lot of unaccustomed pressure. I've been looking for ways to use both walker and crutches as exercise equipment intentionally and I haven't found anything. I can do dips on my walker, and I can use it as a barre for working my ankle-side hips, but that's about it. The crutches are still an exploration. (I'm not trying for Cirque du Soleil choreo, LOL! Just something that would be a fun challenge and not too high risk. The mental aspect of figuring these things out really takes the sting out of being grounded.) Thank you!

I twisted my left ankle while doing a back lunge.. post which I couldn't be so regular on my workouts.. but just been doing upper body and core and very light leg exercise with no foot work.. but this really good.. will definitely try this tomorrow

Jej! Just started working out again when my horse stepped on my foot and sprained my toe and ripped out my nail... so i had to cancel all my workout classes.... been looking for a good alternative to keep active since i can barely go outside because no shoe fits over the bandage...

I also have posterior tibial tendonitis in my right ankle and am getting laser therapy for it. This has been such a helpful workout! I do it 4 times to get a solid hour of exercise in and I am sweating and shaking by the end!
