A question with reference to the 2016 match between Rafeala Silva vs yoshida armbar injury. Why did the ref ordered yoshida to bow and leave so quickly? Could he have waited perhaps for a recovery from Silva and thus the customary handshake could have been done ?

Very original sankaku gatame. She's talented and pretty. But, dolgova quick armlock really did damage.

It is classical Daria's version she won by this techniques lot of matches. Juji gatame by Dolgova was unfair because it cames after Daria winning technique and match was already over.

Maybe it's a silly question/observation, but I'm sitting her wondering why she didn't turn that into a choke after having so much difficulty trying to turn her over like that.

It isn't silly question. It would be the best solution in this situation probably. But Daria Bilodid destroys most of her opponents her sankaku gatame (kuzure kami shiho gatame) and she doesn't use other techniques almost...

@@judojudo3808 I see her do it all the time. As soon as the fight hits the floor, there she is trying to dig that foot in, but she rarely ever uses it to choke. It virtually always goes to pin.

@@LucieOne judo has a lot of history and techniques, that's why they have so many options for the win. Pinning, is an art of its own. I think the option to choke , for Daria she might not know how or she uses it as a pin. Bjj people mostly resort to chokes.
