She's bubbly and engaging now because she can finally be herself and be open with her girlfriend. She went through some heavy depression before she came out. I'm so glad for her and like to see her happy and doing well.

I still can't believe that you can now track such great personalities almost as thought they were right next to you. I remember how I watched Martina at Wimbledon back in 1990, 1991 - she's already been a legend, and I discovered a beauty of a grass tennis with her amazing play. And now I'm following her interviewing Daria, who is by far the most enjoyable, lovely, touching player of today, and whom I'm following closely thanks to Natasha and What the Blog! BTW, the same Summer I discovered Martina, John McEnroe and Wimbledon, I also watched first Russian beauty contests - and of course I remember Julia Lemigova! She stood out among other competitors with her intelligent, a bit cold, royal style. All the luck to you, dear ladies; all four of you are living legends and role models for many, many people. Спасибо, and Děkuji. God save you.

She needs more confidence in herself .I knew that she had big results on grass in her ,excellent serve, great mover, great hands ,great slice and as good as anyone in the forecourt . Needs to realise where her strengths are before she can maximise them .I think she’s cruising and that’s at 12 in the world 😂😂😂😂she’s ridiculously talented .

Her slice serve bounces low and is less attackable on grass, i think that's the main reason she's doing well here. Holding serve is and has always been her biggest issue.

Roger Federer said something a few weeks ago in his Commencement speech for Dartmouth University that got me thinking about your research into other peoples' meaning of victory. He said that statistics showed that over his entire career he only won 54% of all the points he ever played. 54 per cent! Since tennis is played between two hard-working, disciplined athletes who are so closely matched, I wondered if we should be celebrating BOTH athletes after each match--especially when we've had the privilege of seeing incredible matches like Rybakina-Kasatkina Montreal 2023 (at 3:45 in the morning!) or Kasatkina-Pegula 2024 semis in Charleston, or Badosa-Kasatkina Wimbledon 2024--especially when the players truly have a lot of respect / admiration and/or love for each other--why can't we consider both athletes "victorious" and therefore, interview both players together. Despite the residue from the tension-filled battle that ensued, I think it would be entertaining and insightful to see BOTH players interviewed TOGETHER--especially when your goal is to spread KINDNESS and LOVE to the world (hopefully by your own examples). Anyway, just wondering. After feeling SO PRIVILEGED to have been able to watch incredible athletic performances, I'd just like to see REAL LIFE reactions (not cat fights or fist fights) by MATURE HUMAN BEINGS in the aftermath.

Won Eastbourne and has dropped 3 games in 2 rounds so far. She is a darkhorse this Wimbledon
@alexlackner1945
@alexlackner1945 13 күн бұрын
She's won Eastbourne before, Wimbledon is a different beast. I don't really see her win a Grand Slam, she's a crafty player but lacks real weapons and tends to freeze up in key moments. On the other hand, if Vondrousova has won it, Dasha has a chance as well...
@yevgenymelnik7370
@yevgenymelnik7370 12 күн бұрын
@@alexlackner1945I agree with your logic, but fact are: it was her first title on grass, that she has just won in Eastbourne. And she seems to have improved her game on grass significantly! If she beats Badosa - really expecting her in the semis. And then who knows what can happen in last matches...

She doesn't want to participate because of her stance on Putin's war on Ukraine. She thinks she can't participate in the Olympics while the country she is from is waging a war on innocent people. It really is a shame that she'll miss it, but she has good reason to.
