The more I listen, the more I become convinced that we are dealing with one of the most beautiful lyric soprano on this planet. Extraordinary, unusual, super-beautiful color and the high tones simply paralyze with their light and brilliance! This "Signore ascolta", which we had the pleasure to hear in Warsaw, for me the most beautiful I have ever heard💐. Endless toi toi toi, Darija!💗🤞😊✊

Too slow, just concentrating on sounding ”good” but Liu is not simply ”belcanto”, this is verismo and needs much more emotion. It also needs a developed voice with chestvoice which this singer lacks.

For me, the singer showed an interpretative genius reaching much deeper into the score and the libretto than you think. In your opinions here, you use, like mantra, the same formulas commenting on two completely different Liu arias. Please show me at least one lyric soprano who sings 'Signore ascolta' through the chest. I believe that the artist consciously avoids excessive exaltation and consequently tones emotions, thus extracting fantastic Chinese 'contemplative' sound from the music, but above all, making the character more credible. For these reasons, I believe that this interpretation exceeds many known performances. You said "concentrating on sounding 'good", and here you are quite right because She sounds more than great 🙂
