The players who the lakers were pursuing were way past their prime. Klay Thompson was relegated to bench duty (and coming off an injury) and Deroza is not a 3 point shooter. I am glad we kept DLO, he has skills and is a great shooter. People are forgetting Gabe Vincent is returning. I am tired of these so called pundits wanting the Lakers to make salary cap making decisions and trade away the future based on name recognition and past heroics. We also drafted Knecht who some believe was a lottery pick.
