That's about 98% of country since the 1980s. They all sing about working on a farm. Almost nobody works on farms anymore, not even in the country. Kid rock is more genuine country than most of the country stars. Besides that Darius Rucker is making real country music when most of it is pop music with rap influences. Some of its good but getting away from the genre a bit. Though before that a lot of it was rock influenced. I think country is supposed to be mainly acoustic guitar, fiddles, laid back music like this or like hank Williams jr. Not too much rock or pop in it.

@Christopher Murray Luke has matured a lot. At one point he was the face of bro country, I'm happy to say I've gone from disliking his music to a fan over the last few years. He's finally talking about real life things. Some People Are Good is still one of the most moving songs I've heard in a long time. To show diverse people in his video was an even bigger step for the country community and was beautiful to see. As far as Thomas Rhett he has a few decent songs but too religious for my taste at times. Like we get it, you love your wife and God that's cool but write about something else too maybe?
