Darjeeling in Winter| Steam Toy Train, Bike Ride & Cable Car | Hotels & Cafes | Lamahatta & Offbeats

I recently visited Darjeeling and here are few points to keep in mind-
General-
1. Autumn is really nice time to visit Darjeeling.
2. Carrying light suitcase will help you going uphill.
Hotels
1. Standing in mall facing north, try booking hotels on the north western side for better view.
2. Hotel sunflower is the best hotel we found.

3. Dormitories in Hideout is nice.
Bike
1. Check battery and tires of bike before renting and check Adventures unlimited India out. They are helpful.

2. Road after Takdah is really bad for biking. Refrain from riding solo.
3. Carry a passport size picture required for renting bike.
Some good Places to eat-
1. Keventer's
2. Frank ross cafe
3. Must try waffle and ramen from hideout cafe.
