I went on my first ever solo trip to Darjeeling in April this year and I can't explain how it was!!! I Those 4 days were the best days of my life. Everything is beautiful about Darjeeling, the roads , the people.....I just love Darjeeling

@@ratrex231 Only 6000 rs bro. Let me make it easy for u From Siliguri railway station to Darjeeling sharing cab-200rs Hostel- 350rs per night ( bubble beds hostel below Darjeeling zoo). Food wasn't good though. But everything else was nice Food- Riva restaurant next to the hostel bubble beds. Great food at affordable price. Local street food is also very affordable and nice. Cost for 4 days- around 1000 rs. Local sightseeing- First day- visited nearby locations by walk only like Zoo and HMI , Happy valley tea garden, Mahadev temple, shrubbery nightingale park mall road , clock tower etc Second day- I booked private cab for 2000 for whole day including rock garden and pine forest and all the major sightseeing spots Third day - I visited lamahatta and other places In that route in a shared sumo cost- 70 rs one way. While returning I couldn't get the sumo but a very humble person offered me lift till my hostel. Fourth day - chill Most beautiful thing about that place is the people....I found the sweetest people there. P.s. I did a bit shopping too still some money was left Feel free if u want to ask me anything else

@@ratrex231 as per my knowledge may and June is the peak tourist season , weather is also very nice so definitely u can visit during that time. I went to Darjeeling in April ( first week). There weren't many tourist at that time and that's what I loved....and also there were flowers everywhere so it made the place even more beautiful.

​@@Dineshmehta0215Aap NJP station ya phir bagdogra airport pahuch kar direct sharing cab le Lena up to Darjeeling. Humara per head ₹ 700/- liye tha from Siliguri to our hotel in Darjeeling. Phir local cab book kar lijiye jisse aap St. Andrews Church, Glenary's restaurant at Mall Road visit kar sakte hai. Mall Road par shopping bhi kar sakte hai. Mall Road ka naam hai Chaurasta. Uske baad aap Japanese Temple, Kanchanjunga View Point, Ghum Monastery, Rangeet Tea Garden (via Ropeway) jaa sakte hain. Uske baad please don't forget to take the joyride from Darjeeling Station to Ghum (World's highest railway station) via Batasia Loop. Uske baad aap Lamahatta Pine forest, Tinchuley Jaa sakte hain. Please note that ki humlog "Hotel Himalayan Retreat" par ruke the jo Mall Road k paas hi hain.(Please refer to Google for details of the hotel). If you want Kanchanjunga View Point then please do start early at 4 AM from your hotel so that you can view it very nicely. It is highly recommended that you take the joyride. You will love it. Abhi offseason chal raha hain toh aapko jyada pareshani nahi hogi. Enjoy your trip.

Is it even worth going to Darjeeling? Kahi mussoorie waali feel to nahi aayegi? Because some of my friends said that if you just want to see.... train and tea gardens...than most welcome.... otherwise it's better to head for Sikkim.....what you guys say?
