If you're wondering in which time period you're in right now (present or 80s), really pay attention to what clothes people are wearing, how the environment looks... the casting and details in this show are phenomenal! - Consider writing down some notes (e. g. family relations) - It's really going to be confusing and you will have a lot of questions the further you watch the show. Remember: DARK is extremely well written, and everything will make sense at some point. - It may help to publish more than one video per week (hehehehe :D) so that you can keep track of everything that happens.

Don’t worry, this show is the only story I’ve known where time travel ACTUALLY works. This show is complicated as hell, but it will all makes sense in the end. That’s the brillance of this show, it’s very deep, have amazing casting and actors, as well as directing, but before all, writing. The team behind it wrote it before hand from beginning to end. Rewatching it multiple times is even better knowing all the details. Glad that you are enjoying it, and to follow your journey on it.

Personally, I think this is the only show/movie were you really can think about the Time-Travel AS DEEP AS YOU WANT. All others, at a certain point I will except a few issues as long as they don't trip over their own rules, but this show. Once they show all the rules of this world (which will not happen until the last episode of this series), I think almost everything and especially everthing important makes sense, no matter how hard you think about it.

I love this show. It’s my favorite ever. Please take notes. You need to at least write notes of names (first and last) and make a rough draft of lines connecting family members. I promise it will help. There IS an online site that allows you to see relationships and characters on a per-episode level so it doesn’t spoil it. But if you don’t want to do that- please take notes!

22:45 - Please feel free to overthink/speculate/have fun with the time-travel side of this show (impressive work so far btw). I've gone through the series 3 times and apart from some minor "details" and one big-ish headscratch coming waaaaay later, every point of the story in this (at least to me) is perfectly sound/coherent, masterfully crafted and written. If there is something that seems off or makes no logical sense to you, you might just not see the full picture yet. The point im getting at: rest assured, the show WILL deliver the answers to 99,9% of all questions asked at some point or another. Btw, Netflix has its own dedicated/official DARK-guide website, which can be set up for each individual episode, containing the given information for everything going on with everyone in Winden up to this point, including names, relations aso. I've done my fist watchthrough without it, but i got to admit that i probably had an easier time watching out for details, since german is my first language and i dont have to deal with the subtitles. Enjoy the ride!

this show truly fuxked with my mind when i watched it (especially cause i wasn't expecting to basically have to memories names and faces of so many characters and how they are all connected) but all the theorising and then reveals and stuff that happen later on were always so damn good that my brief confusions were so worth it lol

This is my all time favorite live action sci fi show and of all the reactors I watch, you are far and away the reactor I am most excited to get to ride along with while you go thru the show. It's best to take notes. Not gonna lie, I had to watch some episodes twice and sometimes had to go back to the previous episode. It's a great show. Season 1 is my favorite. But yeah, at least take notes on family names and dynamics.

There's a reason for the hype. The hype is real. And sorry but yes, time travel. The craziest time travel story ever. And boy, are there paradoxes in this series. Paradoxes within paradoxes. Sorry... 😋 Oh.. Rewatch the scenes again at the hotel with Regina behind the front desk in episodes one and two. Some interesting details in the background involving the room keys.. And the Stranger's room... 😉

I told you, you must watch it consecutively, at least 1 season at a time. the show is design for binge watch. if you watch per episode in the length of days or week you might skip some detail and most importantly the emotional maps on the characters. especially if in those skip days you watch other show. but... anyway enjoy!!

Commenters will sometimes get a little bit sad that they don't get to re-experience the "OMG" reaction of a reveal by watching it happen for you. It's understandable.
