The dark academia aesthetic is quite appealing. Many moons ago, I attended one of the Seven Sister colleges in the northeast, where you ascend the turret of the Gothic library and sleep in a stone room with 360 degree views. I studied religion and 19th century German philosophy. Today, I live in northern New England, and it is October. The leaves are fiery, the sky is chiaroscuro with alternating clouds and sun, the chill is getting serious, and the air is permeated with apples and wood smoke. And yes, I have a lot of crows.

Replica Coffee Break and Mancera Red Tobacco fit the dark academia aesthetic so well for me! Coffee break is such a rich and warm sweet scent and Red tobacco is so dark and woody but still fresh. Light academia was hard for me but out of my collection Commodity Paper- fits the best. It’s like you’re flipping through an old book, it’s a really nostalgic scent. I love this concept, very inspiring

I like this list. I think I'd add some stuff from Nest, though, at least for the darker side. Recommend Indigo and Black Tulip (my signature scent). The Black Tulip bottle alone I think you'd really love. It's a dark floral, which is good because otherwise the name would probably be weird and misleading. I think in terms of scents I like, Black Tulip rates over Black Orchid (TF), but I enjoy them both. I think the bottle art is what really cinches it - but I also find that the scent is more unique to my nose. And I definitely would love to see other aesthetics. I'd enjoy your take on Pastel Goth or Fairy aesthetics.

Love this whole vibe and video overall. The only addition I could think of is my fave scent overall and that’s Tom Ford Ombré Leather. From the bottle to the projection, and notes it just fits dark academia to me. And it’s my favorite overall so there’s that as well. Love this style of video. Definitely do more! ☺️

I boughta a travel size of By The Fireplace last year. I dropped the flask and it broke all over my bed room tile floor. My signature scent is orpheon, and my other fav scents are gris charnel, Initio musk therapy and Nishane wulongcha. If we are on the topic of discontinued KVD fragrances, Poetica was absolutely perfect.
