You do understand that your "tan trench coat" is not trench coat? It's overcoat cause it's made of wool at least visually

You do understand that the first trench coats, during WWI, were made of gabardine, a worsted wool and often featured a removable woolen insert? There have been many adaptations of the traditional trench over the last one hundred years, depending on the fashion trend.
