Dang! Nice pvp. As a brand new player, I didn't know how to optimize the wizard but now I see there's a lot more to it than I thought. Very helpful, thank you. Right after watching like half the pvp, I fended off my first player with sheer jukes and a few fireballs, feels good finally instead of just getting 2-3hit and slaughtered right away. Cheers.

Since knowledge also affects casting speed and spell memory. You should take sage instead of the 10% spell casting boost since it's the same but you get more memory.

i dont think 10% knowledge gives 10% cast speed. it gives a bonus but not 1 to 1

Yeah I am not completely new as I have a level 42 fighter, but that's still pretty new. This was helpful because I want to play some other characters and wizard seems so fun. watching my teammate play it. This was really helpful in explaining why you chose certain things as well because my teammate is a legit gamer and dominates everything he touches and I am a casual old dude player. LOL. One thing that I would love is maybe where you put things in inventory. What buttons control spells, etc an how you recommend switching things when fighting and all. In any case, this was helpful so thank you.

Been getting reps in the last week on this build in under25 norms, and then doing some geared norms and a couple high roller for quests. Boy, the PvE on this class is abysmal for high roller. I have an Epic Crystal Sword and it's taking 4-6 strikes to kill goblins. It makes a lot of sense to just do geared normals where you can focus on the pvp aspects of the class and not have to worry about spending half the round clock doing mobs. If you were to invest more gold in the build, where would you put more focus on? I decided to splurge some on higher rarity cheaper pieces to get Agility/Will boosts Thanks again for the guide, unfortunate that the video inflates the build costs by 50+% haha

If you're casting magic missile you can't move while casting it . If you move it cancelles it right away

Good tips, I felt utterly clueless in my first tries. One question though: What exactly is the difference between staffs and spellbooks that makes the latter more ideal for spellcasting post low levels? Just the lower move speed reduction?

This video has confirmed how I feel as a fighter meeting a wizard ;-; . I also feel the same about druids, I get into a fight with one and they just panther triple jump into casting and I can never get to em. What are you even supposed to do against the class?
