Interesting being old (64) and seeing colors and trends repeat. This feels like an updated take on the 80’s. Kudos on the commitment putting on the dowels, I don’t have the patience. Will definitely use your rough sand before scraping tip.

Hi! At first, I thought this is going to be awful! When I saw that beautiful elm veneer I was really scared thinking you would paint it (I haven’t watched your videos before). I’m so grateful you did a paint wash. It really turned out very nice. AND, thank you for the tip of sanding before scraping. I’ll try that next time. 😊

I have noted that when content creators ask whether the viewer likes the end result, they only want to hear that the viewer liked it. They don't really want to hear that they did not. If content creators do not want to hear negative comments, then they should not ask the viewers' comments. More often than not content creators become all defensive when comment is negative. The reality is that you created a product that will sell in your market. If it sells, it is really immaterial whether a viewer likes it or not. Not everyone will like all content all the time. If someone does not like a content creator's work, they should not see it as a personal attack.

I like hearing different peoples thoughts on what they do and do not like with certain styles. The only time I take offense to it or give sass back is when people are straight up rude about. That’s why I ask people to be respectful. Theres zero reason to wish ill things upon people or tell them to never touch furniture again. But knowing people’s different styles helps us know what people are looking for 🤗

@ I think the movement is back to natural looking wood and natural stains. Classic colors are back and bleached wood is going out. There are way too many of them on KZbin. It’s either painted or bleached or made modern. There is something about restoring old pieces to their original glory, they are not necessarily need to be completely changed. There are ugly pieces that do need that, but these two were awesome to begin with. As a consumer I would not buy anything that is trendy because it will be quickly outdated. Just my personal opinion.
