I’d get some close up shots as well, it always seems more epic when you can see it from the model’s perspective. Great vid though, I’d think about clearer audio and some different camera angles. Great stuff though 👍🏻

Thanks man! Weve invested in some lapel mics and will definitely have a think about different angles. Much appreciated feedback! :)

Hey Paul! As this is your first attempt, would you like some constructive feedback on the technical stuff? (Only 33 mins into the video now)

Absolutely that would be fantastic. Adjustments ive made already (based on my limited tech know how): Adjusted camera to 1080p/24fps Changed auto sound mode which caused the audio to drop EV and light settings played with. Twitch upload bitrate was set way to low. Any other advice is more than welcomed and appreciated :)

@@bastiongamesminiaturegaming I only really have two things that I think could provide significant improvement to the viewer experience: Sound: There is a lot of room echo - i.e. you are playing in a room with lots of flat hard surfaces, and the microphone is on the camera I guess? It makes your voices lack clarity. If you want to use a single microphone, I think you could benefit a lot from doing some sort of soundproofing in the room. If you want to go all out, studio-style, lapelle mics are the way to go, but that is way more of a commitment technically and financially. Lights: You can never have enough lights. You had most of the light to the right of the board, and it casts some shadows and makes the left side of the board hard to read on camera. I am sure it feels very well lit to you, but it still appears a little dull on screen. So the things you can do immediately without costs are: - add some sort of soundproofing to the room. Hang up some blankets on the walls, use anything that absorbs sound. (clothes, pillows, blankets etc. ) - Add more lights from different directions, and you can never have enough. "pro" setup (think tabletop titans-ish): lapelle mics and mixer. 2-4 LED panels placed around the board. Your camera will love you for it ;) Now I'll get back to watchign the last of the battlerep! :D

@@KristianHerner you are a star my man! Defo gonna implement this. The plan (when funds allow) would be two lapel mics for the players :)

@@bastiongamesminiaturegaming Sounds good! Just be careful not to run into the "gotta get more tech-stuff"-rabbithole. First make sure you enjoy making battlereports :D
