When some asmrtists try to be funny, it just comes off as creepy; your moments of levity come off wholesome, like the audience is in on the joke. It’s very appreciated. 😀 Also, if it’s any consolation, I’m a little bit older, and grew up in Motown itself (Detroit) - the Temptations were on constant rotation in my house!

Hey Lucie, no , that’s not an inappropriate thing to say at all. I lost my dad around 20 years ago, and I found that so many people and places reminded me of him; I saw him everywhere. That’s how grief works and it’s totally ok. This won’t help you at all right now, but time rubs the rawness from your loss; be sure to give yourself time, and remember to look after yourself.
