I am really glad you received it well. I was afraid of it coming off as too generic. This series is something that I can make more regularly, and my goal is to be able to get either one of these, or a Friday video out each week.

The worst part about giving cards errata is if, like me, you don't play competitively then you want the old version of the card which often becomes pricy on the secondary market. I often prefer a card get banned than errataed.

Dark is very powerful. I think Light comes shortly after as they both are either opposites or used for Chaos Engines, so Light has to have good support. Also Blue-Eyes is Light, so there is that. Fire monsters seem to be the most forgotten attributes from what I remembered. But when they do get support, it is pretty powerful.

From my research Wind and Earth have the worst generic and semi generic support.

@@tcgtheory1147 Thankfully Wind has been Getting a lot more Generic Support for it as of late. Though as of recent it’s been outshined by Fire BS.

My favorite piece of dark support not mentioned is Shadow's Light, a card that specials any light from deck or extra with the same type and attribute of a Dark in the field, with a good GY effect too (an extra normal). Duality is even better and saw meta play but I guess it's more Chaos support. In any case, great vid even if most of my decks can't really run them in the current meta, there's always a new deck waiting to break some cards.

Dragon Nails was worded for DARK monsters, because Joey equipped this Card onto his Red-Eyes Metal Dragon, which became a Machine-Type monster instead of Dragon.

Recurral Nightmare feels like it can be broken anytime konami makes a false move (like making a dark archetype of only 0 def DARK monsters.), Maybe it's gonna allow some sort of FTK at some point who knows. I could easily see a dark deck just running allures, beggining of the end and recurring nightmares if it ever happens lol.

I think crush card doesnt trigger effects that were destroyed from deck as it says you opponent destroys them so it could work like how karma cannon worked with towers monsters im not completely sure though

you can apply effects that triggers when they are destroyed from deck, for example if you choose to destroy a "mahad oracle palladium" from your deck you can activate its third effect to special summon a dark magician

Never realized Crush Card Virus got an errata :/

It had to get an Errata. It’s such a Powerful Card that messed up the OCG. And the TCG nearly suffered the Same Damage, but they decided against releasing it so soon. That’s why the other Virus Cards were made.
