“Ok we just need a simple heroic theme for the boss fight” *bends times and space with piano*

it sounds good and is impressive yes, but people are blowing this way out of proportion.

@@nackle_k I don't know, he grinds out some mad fivelets and some quick as frick all over the piano crap. Maybe my small piano brain cannot comprehend

@@MusicauxWasTaken yeah I've heard them called that, but in the marching percussion world we just call them fivelets, sixlets, sevenlets, and so on so our dum drumb brains can function
When my orchestra played this live, we had to split the piano part because it was so difficult. And here are the two gods playing the entire orchestra just by themselves. Amazing

I read somewhere the piano in the game was played by the composer. I wonder if it was just improvised over the top while recording
i love how you can sightly hear the horse theme in this piece, great attention to detail. i guess its kinda funny how the game still plays the horse even when boss music plays.

I love how the BotW soundtrack rewards you for knowing all the "old" Zelda themes, while meanwhile basing itself on all the new motifs as well. It really gives the sense that you're playing in a world that fell apart 100 years ago, but there's still the hope of bringing it back.
I'm so hyped for this, there still isn't a piano cover that can fully do this song justice (Aqare's one is a feat for just one person but this song definitely needs 4 hands to be properly arranged).
