For me, this is a "true" brow lipstick review. You didn't add lip liner and then the color. No shade. I just think when other tutorials or explainers do that it defeats the purpose. So, thank you very much. This hit the spot on what I was looking for.

Colored Raine was my favorite on you out of the three!😍 Mented Cosmetics baby brown is another good nude to me for darker skin tones.

My favorite brown shade is I Dare from L’Oréal it’s a liquid lip. It’s a thinner formula but I love to line my lips with it.

I have personally been on a hunt for a fudge non-liquid lipstick. So far I've found Revlon Chocoliscious, Bite Cognac and NYX Dramatic. Honorable mention to ABH Rust and ABH Maple (gloss). These are my "nudes" that I don't have to think about when applying and look good with everything! But I'm still on the hunt...

Like you, I have been on the hunt for AGES for a deep dark chocolate brown thst suits my melanin skin. The brown shades available on the market aren't dark enough despite their name. I found one from a high street brand in the UK (New Look) but they discontinued their makeup line! But, I have coloured raine products - mocha and tootsie. Even though I like them, mocha isn't dark enough, and toosie dried down dark purple. So the hunt continues, but i will check out your other suggestions. Thanks

Try Revolution Retro Luxe Matte Kit in Glory (deep brown). They are a UK brand but ship to the US. Originally $9 US now $4.50. There are a few KZbin videos on the color but not a lot of brown skinned women reviewed it. Good luck on your hunt 👍🏿

Thank you again I wouldn't have thought to check for Revolution and they gave me free concealer samples too for their new range of dark shades! 😊

@@bea3763 I'm so glad you took a chance and ordered them! I ordered from them years ago when matte liquid lipsticks first came out. I received mine last week and I love the color; it is truly dark brown on my skin complexion (see my photo for my profile picture although it does appear darker on lighter skin tones. Surprisingly it is a dupe for Coloured Raine's Mocha but lighter than Tootsie since it has a burgundy undertone (I own both colors). The textures are different but once the colors dry down, they look the same. Enjoy your new brown lippie💋

You & I are the same skin tone, I only very recently got into wearing makeup and the struggle (pauses for dramatic effect & puts bass in voice) STRUGGLE! To; find someone that does makeup who looks like me or someone doing makeup looks I could very well try without fearing I'd look like a clown because the shade is a flop/doesnt suit my skin tone.
