Dark Cloud OST - "Divine Beast Dran" (Actual in-game version)

I don't think any video game boss battle has scared the ever living shit out of me more than Dran, I remember playing Dark Cloud as a very young kid (around 5) and being that I was easily scared at that age, I'd always stick to the edge of the arena because watching Toan and Xiao fall to their deaths would make me shit myself. I've obviously grown up, and it doesn't disturb me in the slightest now, but it's always fun to remember a time when you weren't as wise.

WOW, you can really hear the drums in this in-game version of the Dran Boss Theme! It feels more "tribal" and adds more excitement to the piece as a whole. Even the strings sound more powerful and more pronounced as well. Splendid!

I prefer this in game version instead of the ost. It's more....I can't describe it! Everything sounds different! The drums, the vocals, the bass, the...strings? Are those called strings?
