This is an interesting concept, I've never thought about adding the sound element of the game in with the soundtrack. It's a good feeling

Might and Magic 6 and Heroes of Might and Magic were famous for doing this as well, although they did it due to technical limitations they faced during development.

This version with the drone sounds better than the OST with the percussion in my opinion.
