I agree, I wasn't a big fan of the artwork when I first saw it and actually got it off my wish list, HOWEVER I ended up watching the playlist the creators of the deck (artist and writer) set up with all the BTS reasoning and meanings for the cards etc, and I ended up being convinced to give it a go. I now love it so much, and have found that the artwork seems to unlock secrets deep within me in a way that I never expected.

I've been doing a daily card pull from this deck with the Witch Sister tarot for the Scorpio season. It's not an obvious pair but a powerful one. The other day I pulled Death card from Witch Sister and 47. Demeter from Hekatean Path, and was blown away when I realized I was essentially looking at the same image in both, colors and all. Sometimes the odd pairings really pack a punch.

I agree about odd pairings. I usually pair based on my intuition or my guides' prompting rather than appearance, and I get some fascinating match-ups that way. It actually struck me as odd to pair based on what decks look like, as is the popular trend now. But that's cool, too.

I am in complete agreement with all the points you made about this deck that made you hesitant about it. But as Hekate has been so very consistently making me aware of her presents and calling, I may just purchase it now. BTW, I absolutely love “relaxed on a Sunday afternoon T-shirt Raecine” !! ♥️🌟🖤

Really happy to see you come back to the deck. As a devotee of Hekate, this deck has been a labour of love and dedication years in the making. Whilst the artwork isn't to everyone's taste, I have personally found some "pretty" and popular decks have a clear disconnect between the artist and author because they don't actually work together that much (if at all); it's just a concept given to a publisher preferred artist. But lots of people who have stuck with Oracle of the Hekatean Path have similarly discovered that it is a raw and no nonsense tool that "calls you out on your shit" 😅 And of course, everyone's relationship with Hekate will be a personal one and differ, but I attempted to present many of the faces and facets of the Goddess from antiquity in the hope that different people will resonate with something, somewhere. But I was definitely chuckling to myself and nodding when you talked about the message you got. PS: I am finally nearly done with the expanded guidebook. Hoping to get the text finished in the next week or so, then will sort out getting it into the world. 😊

This deck knocks it out of the park. I agree with you, not a huge fan of the artwork, but the deck gives very powerful messages. I drew Persephone form the Dark Goddess Oracle on Samhain as my deity to be working with now until Winter Solstice. So Hecate and Persephone are calling out to me at this time. And I do see them in relationship to each other.

I agree, I love the guidebook, the cards not at all, I was able to modify the backings of the cards and the box, but not the artwork. I know the author worked hard on the artwork, and was a choice, but it really deserved a totally different kind of art, collages and psychedelic is really not my thing, and my readings are really messed up, there are cards I can't even look at them - the guidebook, on the other hand is amazing.

I love this deck so much & can’t wait for the large guidebook 🖤 It works so well for me in my relationship with Hecate as a tool to confirm communication. I like it when decks are unexpected favorites like that. :) Sometimes it's more about the energy and less about the artwork... Oh and it does look a bit like the Queen of the Moon Oracle by Stacey. I wanted to love that deck but... Nah. :)
