The fact that Lord Ahriman and other heavy hitters beyond Deathcore have come on your channel speaks volumes. You all respect each other as musicians and don't GAF what others think. Keep up the great work I know that this is pushing genres and subgenres forward.

@mauro514223 күн бұрын
@@dreamplace7469 if you talk about metal subgenres in the nineties like in this case, some things are unavoidable to know in advance. Basic stuff like this, for example. It gives how deep is the knowledge in the interview. That, in fact, is really boring and blend. He didn't even mention David Parland in the questions, just to give you a small example. You don't have the slightest idea of what that means, as your comment and answer testify.

@@dreamplace7469 No, I am in the right place since I listen to Dark Funeral. I am prepared about what the artist talks about. Simply you have different criteria to declare what is a good podcast, as you mentioned. It's that 'best' that is wrong, in my opinion, and I explained why. You didn't.

If you didn't know already, the black metal scene in the 80's-90's was very intense with their beliefs, image, music, and that competition created tension and violence in an already oppresive tension filled country.

@MoonOvIce28 күн бұрын
You should check out more black metal, it's a genre that has a lot to offer, so there's a lot of very different sounds.
@baulzzzzzzz227828 күн бұрын
@ it doesn’t tho, a lot of black metal is just sifting thru noise. Thaniphxath or however you spell it I like, the keys to the astral gate and mystic doors II is also an album I’ve found that’s pretty damn good. Black metal really is something that’s only for black metal fans and it sounds obvious but it’s not if you’re a lover of heavy music. I love all forms of heft from deathcore, to deathmetal, slam, fuckin grind all of it. However when it comes to black metal it stands in its own world and it’s a love or hate thing for sure
@andrewmeyering734328 күн бұрын
@@baulzzzzzzz2278 that's the same for me. I've tried year over year. Probably near 10 years at this point. But I can't seem to get into black metal. I have a buddy who lives and breathes it. So I've heard all the OGs and that. I appreciate him trying to get me into black metal. But I just can't. I do love my death metal/death core. But I HAVE to give it to these guys. They are an inspiration to many.
@Burzum83117 күн бұрын
@@baulzzzzzzz2278 thats how you think it is and that’s fine but not how everyone thinks of it. To me listening to any death metal or deathcore band is just regurgitated noise that all sounds the same with no intriguing uniqueness to the sound besides a very small group of bands.
@baulzzzzzzz227817 күн бұрын
@ bruh….that IS black metal 😂😂 no hate obviously lol I love what the genre has done for metal, but, don’t be pretentious yes deathcore can be a little run of the mill, but bro black metal ALL sounds the same 😂😂 they themselves do that purposefully because there’s a “way” to make black metal. There’s a serious elitism in the genre for no good reason, other than, black metal artists over the years have made it painfully obvious they view the type of metal they make is leaps and bounds better because of its low production quality and raw nature. Let’s no split hairs there are good and bad to both genres however the idea that deathcore is regurgitated noise is hilarious, because if that’s the case all black metal just sounds like listening to metal thru a Tin can 😂😂

Lorna Shore... just checked them out and it sounds like one of those modern "product" bands someone invented to appeal to a certain audience to make money (rather than being passionate about something and going with the flow). I don't connect to that at all, feels so empty. If I want something soulless I stick with traditional Black Metal.
