I’m getting ready to do my kitchen counters.. already did the bar. My problem is I watch too many of your videos!! I love everything you do and I’ve changed my mind about a dozen times in the past week for what I want to do because every time I watch another video, it makes me change my mind for what I want to do.. Between watching you and Mike, I’m going crazy with ideas! Thank you!!!

Rhonda. Rhonda, Rhonda, Rhonda! You keep making these awesome, realistic looking pieces that are blowing my mind. I mean, I'm trying to come up with an idea for my kitchen and bath, and you make it soooooo hard to do so. I mean, there are so many awesome combinations that I've seen you do that my brain is confused. I guess it's a good problem to have as I know whatever I decide to do, I know it's going to look great. Thanks again for the amazing combinations you come up with and share with the rest of us out here in KZbin land. Looks awesome!

Hello i like watch your video's. I have a question when i used metallic spray paint mix it whit epoxy 3 different colors each in a different cup ore more colors. I take a plate 60x60cm primer it. And do my Magic, when i use alcohol 91% on the pièce i see thats gonna be haze or blurred, the colors flow in each otter. I dont want that. Do you think it is because of the alcohol? Greetz
@RK3Designs2 жыл бұрын
Yes. I believe buoy are putting too much alcohol on the surface. This can cause the epoxy to really run together.

I agree with the others, the time lapse at the end was awesome. As far as feedback, I would have used less Isopropyl....i prefer the vein lines as opposed to spotted details. Your sample turned out beautiful though. I'm planning to do a black base with white Montana marble effect and a bit of glimmer and some white veins.

I love it! It’s hard to really see it on the video, to know if all those colors showed up at the end? I saw a little of the gold I think. Can you see some of those colors in the final? Doesn’t really matter , though. It’s gorgeous. Thanks for all you do. And your hair is great. Men have no hair sense. Lol. He should’ve been looking at the piece.

The colors really showed through nicely. I was pleased. If you wanted more color to show through, you would just have to fog less black. 😊

Love it. What is the color behind you on your right side Love the browns in it😍

That’s a sample board our students did in class. I believe we used copper metallic and various other colors of spray paint. It was done a few years ago, so I’m not exactly sure of the recipe.

Really. Ice finish as usual. You could of stopped before you fogged the black and alcohol. I thought that looked pretty awesome too. Thanks Rhonda 👍

Saluodos desde Ecuador...If you sand paper...the marble effect disappears?
@RK3Designs3 жыл бұрын
Yes it will. To get around this issue, do a floodcoat about 10-12 hours after your color coat. That was the epoxy will still be a bit tacky creating a chemical bond with the flood coat.

Can someone tell me the name of the stringy spray she’s using? That made a cool effect.

Hi there, it's called Montana Marble effect. I have it available on my website www.RK3Designs.com

I’m currently working on an accent wall in my house. Have you ever used this marble effect paint on a wall painted with satin paint?
@isiahrowser3 жыл бұрын
Do you think that would be wise to do?
@RK3Designs3 жыл бұрын
@@isiahrowser you just want the spray not the epoxy right. It would be fine. I would paint a sealer over it however.
@majidbuti32743 жыл бұрын
We can use this on floor plz answer
@RK3Designs3 жыл бұрын
You’ll want to use flooring epoxy not the countertop epoxy like what I’m using. Stonecoat has a flooring epoxy as well.
@karanfelix3 жыл бұрын
Hi can this be done on granite
@RK3Designs3 жыл бұрын
Yes. You’ll just need to use a good bonding primer first. I like XIM.
@emtnest4 жыл бұрын
I noticed that you did not put a final top coat on this piece. Is that normal?
@RK3Designs4 жыл бұрын
I don't show in the videos, but I do put a clear flood coat or the Ultimate Top Coat matte finish (from Stonecoat Countertop) on all of our pieces. Thanks for watching and the comment!! I do appreciate!

I don’t understand the waste of everything before the black spray paint
@AquariumThoughts2 жыл бұрын
It's not wasted. The alcohol spreads the spray paint and reveals what's underneath to create a new layer.

Is there any possibility that you could move the hair out of your eye. It's very distracting from an otherwise great series of videos.
