I’m very fortunate to have The Dragon practically in my backyard! That lake you drove by is Chilhowee Lake. We used to camp there all the time. That bridge you cross right before you get on the Dragon is Tab Cat bridge. I’ve jumped off that bridge numerous times

Also check out 421 The Snake . It’s about 2 hours north of the Dragon. It also a great road very similar to the Dragon. It runs from Bristol to Mountain City . It’s just past Bristol Motor Speedway. Great fun as well .

Great video Jake, I’m north of Shelby NC, A little over 50 miles west of Charlotte! I’m at the base of the foothills and I have some very fun roads …I’ve driven my whole life, Located off the Blue Ridge Parkway. They are like mini versions of this. . All the gas stations here are (green for diesel). I don’t understand that in Tennessee. I have yet to drive the dragon myself. thanks for sharing, bro! 🐉🖤🐎

Never road on the Dragon Tail before but I have been on the one call "The Snake" (Interstate 40 to Hwy421) which they say has 489 curves. Took this ride whenever I used to go see my sister when she was station in Fort Campbell coming from Fayetteville. Boy I used to have my little 2011 Ford Focus coasting thru there. Love every min of it.

I go to Tennessee every year and never heard about that road, I saw on Derek’s upload he passed right by a Jeep rental I go to and I still can’t figure out where this road is..
