It's just part of the diabellestar engine. You would be playing a different profile without it

@alen7174 That would be a completely different profile, I'd honestly just make a budget version before that. I guess you could use a kashtira engine or just use other floodgates like skill drain and Summon limit. 🤷

@@DarkArmedDuelist thing is whe i bought all the magicians souls and illusion of chaos thoes werent really budget cards so it way expensive even last year when u made the deck with the bystials which i played and had a ton of fun u can still make a deck that isnt considered budget just not having thoes 3 specific spell cards that are just way to crazy of a price i mean over 200 dollars for 3 cards come on...

@@marcusbollar1960 well, that’s pointless, normally, you use ash blossom’s hand trap effect, you should only normal summon her if you don’t have better move to do, it’s kinda like a last resort thing, spending one extra deck space just for one last resort is not ideal. Also, most of the time your normal summon is gonna be magician’s rod anyway.

Souls and Illusion are reprinted in RC2, and tbh as long as you stock up on hand traps, you can make this competitive. You don't need the Diabellstars to make this super crazy. I would play 2 Apprentice Illusion Magician should you cut those out
