Plus, you can play non-ritual decks in the festival (I ran across around 10-ish Time Lords decks with NO rituals in 20-25 duels... Wakiest event so far in terms of limitations and what's allowed xD)

Ok guys, took me about 20 minutes of research while watching the video regarding the gameplay. Deck list: 3 x Dark Magician 3 x Magician's Souls 3 x Magician's Rod 1 x Dark Magician Girl 1 x Palladium Oracle Mahad 2 x Apprentice Illusion Magician 2 x Magician of Chaos 3 x Illusion of Chaos 1 x Dark Magic Attack 1 x Bond Between Teacher and Student 1 x Magician's Salvation 3 x Dark Magical Circle 1 x Dark Burning Attack 1 x Illusion Magic 3 x Soul Servant 3 x Secrets of Dark Magic 3 x Quacking Mirror Force 2 x Magician Navigation 1 x Ice Dragon's Prison 2 x Eternal Soul Extra Deck: 3 x Master of Chaos (this was the hardest to find, never been used in video) 3 x Cross Sheep 3 x Dyna Mondo You can build this deck by buying the Vortex of Magic Structure Deck 3 Times then filling in the gaps (the remaining cards are R and SR at max, so you can craft them easily, aside from Mahad which is UR) All the best!

The only thing I'd add to this deck is Magician of Dark Illusion because its effects come in handy especially with how many spells/traps/card effects you can generate with this build during both turns. it kinda breaks the opponent in a fun way

Here's some tips if your planning to use it on Ritual festival try Running 3 Forbidden Droplet its good against Chaos Max since it doesn't target & it helps in putting the rod on graveyard over all it's good against the Ritual meta also 2to3 Effect Veiller its good for negating searchers that search on summon like Abyss and and the Dictator of D but its main purpose is to turn on the Banishing effect of Master of Chaos You can probably tell Sam is not running a light monster so His not Using Master of Chaos the best out on a Blue Eyes Board in the ritual festival🎉😂

I can vouch for Sam that the Ritual Festival is fun. I don't know about the other decks, but I have been playing with Blue Eyes loaner deck only and its been fun! Loses and wins but fun! And yeah, lots of them play Blue eyes decks... so far aside from that I have seen Libromancers, Nouvelles, Vendread, Dark Magician and Black Luster Soldier decks. edit: And you can get 3100 gems if you play the festival!

Always nice to see Sam sport some DM. That being said, theres lots of room for optimizing your play sam, you missed many opportunities and DM cant afford to play suboptimal... you can for example always rearch for soul servant/circle if you have the other instead of any other DM spells because you chain sould servant into circle for a free draw of whatever you want... or at the end where your opponent had an empty board you cound have pulled off the Master of chaos otk with DM on field, secrets and a ritual monster in hand...

Question: When i play Magician Souls, i always discard it to Special Summon Dark Magician. What does Summoning Magician Souls do and why?

it doesnt do much on the field other than allow you to discard 2 spells/traps and draw 2 cards. i like to keep itt in my hand to summon my dark magicians.

It's an easy way to get dm to the grave and summon him to field, if halfway the effect is negated per say or smth he should still be in grave, all that matters then is that you have e soul on the field, so you have backups in case it goes bad, if DMC is already on field when DM is summoned its also a free banish
