I'm just now catching up. About Jason's finger... I thought it was the impression left from his wedding band. Which is why he says it will fade over time and he'll only have his memories of old life left. I feel like in the finale that fading will be complete. And he'll reference his wedding finger again.

So far this show is frustrating. I hate when the audience knows what's going on, but we have to wait for the protagonist to figure things out. Especially when he should have caught on sooner since he's a physicist who tried to create the box before. It didn't dawn on him until he found the other Jason's notes?

See Joel here does the opposite to me. I laughed a lot more than I thought I would because of cute little things he did.

killing Jennifer Connelly's character shows the problem with the multiverse, everyone CAN becomes disposable, it's basically Rick and Morty, the show Counterpart was a lot better about that because there was only TWO realities to deal with, and killing people had real costs. The 90s TV show sliders (1995-2000) covered this topic too.

@@zacazzz Counterpart 1/2 was basically East Germany and the other 2/2 was West Germany (plus the entire rest of the world for each)

i'm puzzled when I see 8.2/10 when I've watched a 3/10 (that's being generous) ! I'll try to push through 2 more episodes, but imdb reviews that strongly disagree with the global rating aren't encouraging. People used to watching sci-fi were dismayed for the same reasons : it's flat and borderline idiotic. People new to this struggle to understand the basic concept. Both meaning it's very poorly executed.
