Dark Night of the Soul (Loreena McKennitt Cover)

Absolutely my favourite song of the year. Very likely due to the meaning, which I believe is about a spiritual awakening and the concept of finding light from darkness, which only can come from deep pain. This song is the closest account I can find of the experience I went through last August. The way I viewed the world changed that day. Everything is beautiful now. There is still pain around us, but I see now that love and pain are two halves of one whole, dancing around each other endlessly.
I don't think I have the right type of voice to really light this song on fire, but I love it so much I must sing it or I will burst.
