He's known since Days of Future Past , look at his face when Quicksilver says his mom knew a guy that could control metal, that's why in Apocalypse he asks him "and you? " (When Mystique says she's gonna fight for her family) but Quicksilver doesn't dare to confirm Magneto's suspicion so it's forgotten after that. Plus Quicksilver is barely in Dark Phoenix.

Aquaticus12 they deserved not to be scared and do millions of dollars in reshoots. If they would have stuck to the script they woulda been in space which woulda made sense. But they didn’t want their movie to be “too much like Captain Marvel” so the scrapped the whole 3rd Act. But bro! The Phoenix is from space! That would be like saying yeah Magneto I know you got your powers in a concentration camp but that’s too much like Schindler‘s list so we are gonna have you get your powers at home on your farm after a tractor accident pins your dad down. Just why?!? I mean look at Captain America First Avenger and Wonder Woman! Very close stories! Lots of the plots are the same. They could be exchanged for each other in some places. But did they bend and change? No and they are both Great movies cuz they stuck to the source. I’m just sad that this is the last X-men outing and most people said it’s worse than Apocalypse and X-Men Origins Wolverine (which I liked by the way!)
