@@morgenmuffel5747 It should be, yes. I'm still trying to find if there's any break points for haste, but Dark ranger gets a ton of value from haste because of our 8% chance on auto attacks to get a deathblow proc!

@@MrEggplant Thanks for the prompt reply. That is great news for those who play BM in raid as we prioritize haste and crit. Do you have any thoughts as to whether BM will be competitive with MM in M+ in 11.0.5 with the changes planned?

Yeah, I'm excited for that. Currently there's a bunch of bugs with Dark Ranger, so hopefully they fix those quickly, like they did with Kill Zone in the pre-patch. The Lunar Storm circle being more visible will be a good boost to our QoL.

Most of the fights later on , has intense movement , so I am really having issues with MM (Princess , Court and especially Queen) , im still pumping MM on mythic + , but choose to avoid in raid . Im laying sentinel but maybe will try this now .

i wish this were true, every sim out there still puts sentinel on top of Dark ranger in every scenario. I was really looking forward to DR

The bugs that Dark Ranger is currently dealing with is really hurting it's damage output currently. We should see much better numbers once they're fixed. I'll still give DR builds in my MM hunter guide for when things are fixed and you'll still see some DR content on my channel.

In my vault I have Ara Kara trinket haste trinket (639 possible) and Mad Queen crit trinket (626 possible). Both in BM and MM the Mad Queen sims better but with this rework would you say haste is going to be good so it could sim better than Mad Queen? Or Crit still stronger so 626 crit > 639 haste?

depends on your own stat weights. there will be a haste cap so keep that in mind.

both wowhead and Icy Veins do not touch Dark Ranger for any build. What are we missing here?

It's due to the current bugs that DR is dealing with. Once those get fixed, we'll see more Dark Ranger play. Withering Fire isn't firing all the black arrows it's supposed to and some abilities, like Dark Hounds that I mentioned in the video, are not procing as intended.

Also, wowhead and icy veins' guides are written by the same person, so that would make sense they would be the same. My 11.0.5 MM hunter guide should be out tonight and I'll have builds for both hero builds for when DR is fixed.

I would love to see some explosive shot change (or would be even better to replace It with chakram). IT is a super bad button to press (I only use it via Salvo). One of our short cooldowns with low impact, low damage, bad feeling, useless in PvP. Blizzard pls delete this sh1t, and give back our chakram pls. Ty

Sentinel will be the go to still until the Dark Ranger bugs get fixed with Black Arrow and Withering Fire, among others. I'll have my 11.0.5 MM hunter guide out late tonight and I'll add builds for both hero specs for when they do get fixed.

I've been working on a ST cleave build for M+. That's partially what you see in the video. At the end of last xpac, it was much more viable with higher keys and I've been testing throughout the PTR, among other builds.

Currently, DR is experiences a lot of bugs and abilities (like Black Arrow and Withering Fire) are not working as intended. DR works just fine in ST for the most part. The DR ST build works just fine from the video, I would hold off on the AOE build for now and I'll keep working on more builds!

In an AoE M+ build, are you really taking Wind Arrows/Wailing Arrow/Radiness over Focused Aim/Small Game Hunter/Salvo/Kill Zone?

@MrDoctorDave I'm trying several different builds. This type of cleave build was used on high tyrannical keys back in DF and I've used it to lean into what Dark Ranger does best. You can certainly build a standard M+ build, but you might as well play Sentinel with it. Anything that buffs Kill Shot buffs black arrow for DR. With the point we gained in our trees, we can have builds where we take both Salvo and Wailing Arrow. There's a couple different builds in the description. You most likely won't be running kill zone in any build.
