Being a bowler is tough compared to being a batsman. A batsman gets more time to make impact in a game compared to a bowler. For example, consider ODIs, Rohit Sharma played 173 balls (the longest individual innings that I could remember) in his 264 run innings whereas pick any bowler he gets to bowl a maximum of 60 balls. Delivering an impactful performance in 60 balls is difficult compared to the gametime batsmen gets. That's the reason batsmen are more consistent in their performances compared to the bowlers. Due to their consistency they earn a place in the team whereas bowlers don't. You pick any team not just India, you'll see more batsmen having longer career spans than the bowlers.

@@vineethmukku5137 Are Bhai kya baat kar Raha hai....Mein kya keh raha hu...Tum alag hi baat kar rahe ho.... 1st of all you are talking only of 50overs cricket....2ndly Modern day cricket is different.....Tum batsman ki baat kar rahe ho toh Rohit Sharma jaise 10 batsmen waiting mein hai...Unko bus isliye chance nahi mil Raha kyuki Rohit ek bada naam hai or unfortunately woh captain hai.....But kya tumhare pass Bumrah ka koi replacement hai??Acche bowlers easily nahi milte especially In India that traditionally rely on batsman to win the tournaments...Agar Bhuvaneshwar Kumar ko 2022 t20 wc final mein Rohit ne blame nahi Kiya hota toh woh Aaj bhi shayad team mein khel Raha hota....Look at Siraj and Arshdeep , they are still not at that level or abhi bhi struggle kar rahe hai in T20 format.

@vineetjain528 are bhai maine thik hi bola. Tumne samjha nahi. Maine root cause diya hai why the batsmen earn place in the team more than the bowlers. It is due to their consistency. Bumrah ka replacement koi nahi hai. Uss level ka skill kisi ke paas nahi hai. Siraj aur Arshdeep ke paas consistency nahi hai. Same with Bhuvi, look at his performances in IPL, pehle ke matches mein expensive tha aur aaj uska bowling figures 2-12. . As said before, it all boils down to consistency in performances. Ache bowlers not only in India but in all countries nahi milte hai. For example, do you know the backup bowlers for Starc-Pat-Hazlewood trio who got the same skill? Nahi na, har country mein aisa hi scene hai. 4-5 hi acche bowlers dikhenge kyunki it's tough for bowlers to be consistent due to the less gametime they get to show impact in the game.

@@vineethmukku5137 Yes and that is precisely the reason why a good Bowler should be given chances kyuki aache Bowlers nahi milte.....Mein bhi yehi keh raha hu....Mein batsmen ya bowlers ki consistency ki baat nahi kar raha hu....Look at how many chances KL Rahul or Shreyas Iyer or Sky gets irrespective of their performances.....Lekin bowlers ka ek tournament kharab Gaya toh usse drop kar diya....Pathan, Nehra, Munaf patel, Bhuvi, Chahal even Kuldeep recently had to prove to prove that they deserve a place in Indian team by consistently bowling efforts.....Lekin Rahul, Rohit, Iyer, Sky ke liye parameters alag hai....Woh seedhe aate hai or team mein ghus jaate hai....youngsters gaye bhaad mein .....This is the ugly truth
