I have always loved cricketers who express themselves on field,, that shows their passion and love towards their team.... their hunger to win every time they step on to the field.... Thats the reason why i have always loved players like virat, yuvi bhai, zak bhai, bhajji, irfan, sreesanth ofcourse.... Rahul dravid was my favourite player during late 90s to mid 2000.... Rahul bhai was very cool and calm, but that guy silenced everybody with his bat,, great character and even better cricketer.... Love dhoni too, for what he has achieved for indian cricket, i mean three ICC trophies is not everyone's cup of tea.... But one thing about mahi that hurt me was i have seen his passion and him getting furious when he played for CSK.... i remember the match at dharmashala where CSK was chasing against kings 11 punjab, it was semi final i guess, cuz in the early days of IPL their wasnt any playoffs, it was just two semi final games.... Mahi played a fab knock to get his team in the finals , where he was so pumped up that after winning he was literally punching his helmet.... that showed his passion towards winning that game... And than in the recent past, when csk played against rr, the main umpire signalled no ball as he thought ball was waist high, but the leg umpire turned it down or it may be vive versa, i mean may be leg umpire signalled a no ball and main umpire turned it down.... Mahi who was in dugout came fuming in to the ground charging umpires.... So thats his passion when he plays for CSK.... i wish i could have seen Mahi's aggression when he played in the blue jersey, but sadly that never happened.... So yeah that hurt me, i always wante d to see mahi's aggressive side while playing for india.... Eventually the match between csk and rr that i was talking about was won by CSK, courtsey a last ball six by mitchell santner.... I know my comment might draw some negative feedbacks.... bit i said what i felt.... I have loved thala and will continue doing that .... But that thing definitely hurt me, that i have never seen MSD so pumped up when he played for indian national team..... Sorry if i have hurt anyone's sentiments....

Was never good enough to be an Indian team regular. Gave away 5.5 to 6 runs an over on an average and wasn't a prolific wicket taker either. It was only Greg Chappell who was hyping him up.
