Obviously she had no clue her son would go on to become tigerstar the second, but still, naming him after his tyrant of a grandfather(who he looks exactly like) was just soo 😬.Not hating on tawny, she's actually one of my favorites(yes tawnypelt fans do technically exist), just soo stupid on her part though, although it does fit her stubborn personality. Ok, technically tawnypelt did have a reason for her choice in naming her son, and she was absolutely right, tigerstar 2.0 should be judged on his own merit, not by anything his grandfather did.

Tigerstar the 2nd is also related to Brokenstar and Raggedstar while is a triple whammy like good god the poor kid looks just like 3 shitty Shadowclan leaders.

Tigerstar the Second is what the first Tigerstar probably would have been if he wasn't evil. Tigerstar II is stubborn, and can be brutal and pretty intelligent at times. Imagine a world where Tigerstar I was like this

@@BrownCharlie1 well right off the bat, iam wondering who would be the major villan to take tigerstar 1.0's place. I mean from the very start of the series, all the way to the battle with the dark forest, tigerstar the first was the big bad guy, it's honestly hard to imagine what things would have been like without him.

To be honest, it is my favourite main arc book. Reading 'Dark River', I could feel like a child again by looking into the really realistic relationships between different apprentices, from Lionpaw's puppy love to his conflict with his sister. The most wonderful part of the book is his tiny character development. I mean the fact that this cat has changed his attitude to Jaypaw's disability. At the beginning of 'Dark River', Lionpaw treats his disabled brother like a baby unable to cross the bridge separating them from the Gathering island by himself. However, in the tunnels Jaypaw's sibling realises that he should allow the blind cat to be more sufficient unless he actually needs help. I started to read 'the Power of Three' knowing that they are all Leafpool's kits so I really appreciated every moment when Squirrelflight interacted with her adoptive offspring. I was impressed by the bound between the ginger warrior and Hollypaw that was presented in this book when Squirrelflight crossed the border and entered another clan's camp in order to save her daughter. Reading about Hollypaw's fascination with Firestar's daughter as her parental figure as a person aware of her future feelings about the she-cat was comparable to watching the Star Wars prequels about Anakin's past.

I always felt that the Sky Oak that cinderheartpaw fell out of should have been part of the territory given to Skyclan in AVoS, maybe every as part of their camp. But I think the authors forgot about it

I would've really liked to see a nuanced conflict where Thunderclan ends up being the aggressor this time. The book seemed to be building up to this, with Thunderclan members getting worked up over something as minor as a squirrel, to wanting to intervene in case Riverclan and Windclan would try to fight them for territory. I mean, even the main characters have differing opinions about the situation. Jaypaw wants Thunderclan to go to battle, Hollypaw wants to prevent it, and Lionpaw wants to fight, but doesn't want to risk fighting against Heatherpaw. This could be the start of a divide between the three, and give them incentive to influence their clanmates, perhaps using their powers (especially Jaypaw). It would have also given more justification for Onestar's resentment against Thunderclan later on. He accuses Firestar of breaking his trust, and becomes more determined to prove Windclan strong against their enemies.

this piece is so good!! your art has improved so much over the months - i absolutely love your decision to draw an important but not The Main scene from the books and giving them a bit more attention 💖
@starshine92052 жыл бұрын
I think it had a lot of potential but they tried to fit to many different plot stories into one book especially ones that don't appear to have any influence in later books. Cinderpaw reincarnation made no sense to me, yeah she had a bad accident and maybe didint want to be a medicine cat at first but she seemed to grow to love it and felt useful she served her clan well and died a noble although sad death. So why did she need/ deserve a chance to be a warrior. I think there was other cats who deserved that more. Plus jayfeathers negativity felt annoying and overdone. and then there's the stick that was strange even for starclan type stuff! Jayfeather spending quality time with his stick!😂😂😂😂

Is this the book where ThunderClan attacks WindClan because they have trees on their territory? That was a reverse Sunningrocks move there, ThunderClan... always greedy for territory. Just because Breezepaw caught a squirrel, it sends the whole Clan into a rage. SO stupid... if this isn't the book then which one is it?

Edit: I see what was being said how is Lionpaw not a victim when he’s being manipulated by Tigerstar and Hawkfrost perfectly normal part of growing up I guess
@Sunnyfall2 жыл бұрын
He is a victim of Tigerstar and Hawkfrost, certainly, but the majority of his plotline with Heatherpaw and his disagreements with Hollypaw take place before he even meets either of them, and Lionpaw actually spending time with or even thinking about Tigerstar or Hawkfrost is a remarkably tiny portion of the book. They aren't his main focus or conflict just yet.
