Fun fact, you can run cards such as, Transmodify, Downbeat, Reasoning, One For One to gain some of their effects. One For One special summon the level 1, then transmodify it afterwards for the level 2. (Yes there is a level 3 Vampire but you know). Or you can play a level 5 vampire and transmodify into a level 6 or vice versa with Downbeat.

Wow, Transmodify seems actually pretty freaking amazing in this deck. Forget the Level 3 Vampire, you should just Transmodify Brood into Uni-Zombie, them dump a Mezuki and revive Brood for the search. Or Vampire Sorcerer into any of the Lv5s. Or any of the Lv5s into Scargelet then revive the very same Level 5 you used. Yeah, I'm tempted to say 3 Transmodifys always.

Now remember everyone, We've got a LOT of zombie support to make this deck "playable" Shiranui Solitare, Uni-zombie, Mezuki, Gozuki, Shiranui Swallow Slash, and Psy-framelord Omega just to name a few (I know Omegas not a direct zombie but the synergy is too good to ignore, it can even put back the level 1 and 2 Vampires). We've got a lot of testing to do and a lot of directions to go with this deck, so lets get to work.

However, Life Absorbing Machine, as I said, could POTENTIALLY balance it out (depending on how well you can use it and if you can integrate it well enough) "During your Standby Phase, gain Life Points equal to half of the total Life Points you paid during your last turn."

the fact that you can still just add in the zombie engine (solitaire, spiritmaster, mezuki, uni-zombie, and maybe gozuki if you want to run him) makes this deck a hell of a lot better. plus, they do have their own link two from flames of destruction which helps the deck out a LOT since it's got the draw effect to help mitigate the discard costs of your zombies a bit. solitaire into uni-zombie with their double summon spell and a vampire in hand (or a vampire with shadow vampire if the vampire you want to summon is lv 5+) is a pretty good combination. armageddon knight might also see play just because he can dump the low level vampires to grave quicker and basically lets you run up to six copies of uni-zombie. hell, could even add dark grepher for an additional discard outlet if you want and get nine copies of monsters that send your vampires to grave. (granted that might be a bit much, but the option is definitely there if you want it) overall, i think konami did a great job with this support, ESPECIALLY the artwork. even if i don't play them, and even if the older vampire cards sucked for the most part, the vampire cards always have some top tier artwork going for them. i will say though that i'm kind of disappointed they didn't throw in one that's treated as vampire lord on the field so you could be cheeky and run vampire genesis, lol. cuz genesis isn't all that bad of a card, he just has a really awkward summoning condition with too specific of a tribute requirement. oh well, maybe we'll get a retrain or something when the inevitably get around to doing a reloaded structure deck for the structure deck he came out in. (maybe along with the red-eyes darkness dragon structure deck so i can get some actually good red-eyes support? lol)

I like the chick having the revive effect. If you're in a jam you can use it and her second effect to help get more monsters to be on your side and it becomes risky for them to swing into her, especially if there's two of her on the field unless they have multiple monster negating effects available at one time. The others having it is obviously better for them since they have naturally higher attack but it's still nice to have.

So an idea just came to mind that may work for their continous spell. Put Ghostrick Mansion in there (or which ever ghostrick card that sets monsters after they attack), Spirit Barrier (because you won't take damage since you have monsters on the feild), attack their face gain health and just make it to where you keep thier monsters face down so you can keep gaining life to activate thier effects maybe storming mirror force, flood gate or book of moon and yeah that's game.

I think Life Absorbing Machine can partially mitigate the sacrificing of LP. "During the Standby phase, gain LP equal to half to total of LP your paid last turn" So play two copies of it and you can essentially use some of these effect "freely" since you will regain roughly equal to what you paid since they are cumulative.

Well to be fair, with Fraulein and awake on the field most of the times you'll be getting back a large sum of the LP you paid to boost the monster if it deals damage, if the attack values of the two targets are close. So you could possible deal at least 2000 damage every turn for a stack.

If you read the link Monster this is definitly playebel. And the link is easy to make you can pitch the level to for 1 for 1 for example, normal the level 2 or 1 and target it to send the other one then revive it and make that link monster, then you can use the other one in grave to revive it and search again possibly the spell to normal again then draw 1 card. Foolish the level 1/2 and normal a zombie can get you there to I really think that vampires a now a pretty good fundeck.

The fact that their Levels are all over the place now bothers me quite a bit. These also have surprisingly little synergy with the old vampire support from the xyz era. Them having to Battle or target(and trade a monster) to steal opponents monsters for sheridan is just very bad as it wont work very often. Maybe the little guys end up being an engine that searches their infernity barrier in a zombie deck. It doesnt help that most of the new cards are Lv5+ with no ways to summon them without help, making them very bricky with little payoff Edit: Its also fucked up that the 2 low level monsters wouldve benefitted the most from being lv5/6 instead as it would make them usable for xyz after they used their graveyard summon effect, or you could pull them with shadow vampire to get a search and xyz monster.

Like i said in another video,i use Vampires,and the answer is no,people don't use it(At least not for competitive). Using Vampires takes a lot of time. 2 turns just to prepare the field,and like homie said,it takes a lot of life points. But it's quite efficiently good to XYZ summon,and being zombies, it has a lot of support,but it's not that suitable for competitive duels. I Tried a lot of times.

I play vamps almost exclusively for some years now, I've made 20 different iterations of vampire decks, so I am very happy with this new wave of support but unfortunately it doesn't fix 2 of the problems that vampires sorely needed fixing. 1. i understand that the mill mechanic was unpopular with all the people who didn't play vampires who's opinions somehow out weigh those that did even when they were awful, ahem , but they replaced it with this laughable engine where now you have a decent search engine that needs to be in the graveyard ..... and no clear way to get it there except play garbage or tech turn one and pass but i guess that ties in with the other problem with vampires that went unfixed. 2. WHAT IN GODS NAME DO YOU RUN SO YOU CAN ACTUALLY PLAY TURN ONE

The old vampire gimmick is send card from the top of your opponent deck to the grave The new vampire gimmick is suck your own blood and stole your opponent stuff

Oracle King D'Arc and Waking the Dragon are good Tech since Paying Life acts like Taking Damage from a Card Effect. And since D'Arc gains life for the Damage you "Pay" like the DDD(a Dick) Contracts....safe to say Vampires won't go quietly....but they did. Sadly.

Just an idea: Familiar is level one, so you can normal summon it, make linkuriboh, then pitch for Familiar

you can also one for one it search the 2, linkuriboh, send the 2 to summon it back out, then summon the 2 to search one of the s/t, it's a shame they're only once per turn so you don't get the search off familiar's second summon
