What remains incredulous to me is that Parker didn't continue to have a lifetime career in soaps. She remained beautiful to this day, and with or without the witchcraft element, God knows she could play a vixen or minx. The day _Shadows_ boarded up, Proctor & Gamble should have been there with a long-term, six-figure contract offer. While Frid's daytime drama fame came but accidentally, and he occasionally sounded embarrassed by it, Lara never left the impression she was weary of the work.
