I watched Joan Bennett movies again and again. Im in awwe of her acting. With big names such as Edward G. Robinson. She was so down to earth. Amazing lady.

Joan was a wonderful and precious lady. So elegant yet in a humble way. The whole cast became family to so many pf us. I am blessed to have watched the whole series. Best ever.

so nice to hear she was universally admired by her collegues, a rare star, beautiful all her life and not afraid to age publically

She grounded that show with her poise and credibility. I was only 15 but we all had respect for her character. We knew she was a serious class act. When she spoke you always listened.

Even older she was pretty. I think she may have had hair extensions but didnt get caked with makeup like so many actresses did and still do

Was this from a 50 year reunion, or earlier 2000's? Started watching this again because I was born in 66, but remember the show from age 4 till it ended.

@1:13. "...the cocktail tray would roll in...". I bet that cocktail tray rolled in. They probably got soused and forgot all the lines that they had just run! LOL!

I can certainly see the man who played Roger Collins making good use of that tray!

@@tenhirankei I bet they used that tray to the nth degree! Many afternoon cocktails.

One of my all time favorite daytime serials. Ending up buying the entire series on DVD, which (appropriately) is housed in a small coffin, with the image of Barnabas laid out on the DVD package spines. Very good aquisition. . . in my opinion. . . loved Angelique. . . back then.

Louis was so handsome in the series.

That was close! I thought from the thumbnail that we would see Carolyn as mistress of Collinwood. And that's frightening enough.
@zoppie5 жыл бұрын
I imagine that Carolyn did become mistress of Collinwood at some point. Despite being wild in her youth, I can see her maturing and being more responsible.
